"Water Buffalo they live mostly in the Marches at the south of Iraq. They are well adapted to swamps and areas subject to flooding. The decrease in the water level and the increase in salinity in the marshes area in southern Iraq caused the spread of diseases, which made the buffalo that spread in the area vulnerable to death."

DESCRIBE YOUR CHILDHOOD/GROWING YEARS
I don't remember much of my childhood but I was born with a sebaceous cyst next to my eyes and it was like a tragedy for me and my family. This tragedy began when I entered the primary school, I was bullied a lot by my classmates and I heard many rumors, and when I tried to get rid of it, the doctors told my mother that if I did the operation, I would lose my life because of its connection to the brain. My mother decided to postpone the operation, so I decided to accept my new look with it and occupy myself with what is useful, so I joined the Taekwondo team in my city and I was the first girl to join the team and the only one among them. I participated in several local and international tournaments until I won the title of Iraq Champion in the Al-Baraem category in 2012 at the age of 10 years. I paid more attention to my studies until I entered the High School of Excellence and got first place in the IQ test over my fellow test-takers.

WHAT IS YOUR MEMORABLE MOMENT?
We all have memories in our lives whether they are good or bad, most of which we get lessons from one of the most memories that I can't forget or forget my feeling at the time is the morning of 1ST July 2019 in Vermont Balterboro, United States of America. The view of my room was on a mountain full of beautiful trees so it was all green , the sounds of birds and a little fog, which gives an aesthetic to the place. When I was surprised to see the place from the room window, I ran outside until I inhaled the fresh air of the place. At that time, I wished that the residents of my city, country, and countries whose environmental situation was bad, could see what I was seeing. At that time, I realized the importance of afforestation and preserving the environment and the Earth.

ANY SPECIAL STORIES OR FACTS ABOUT YOUR FAMILY?
My father is a retired colonel for years, and he spends his retirement days looking after our home garden, which has an area of about 200 square meters. He gives the home garden so much attention that he studies about plants and their seasons on YouTube. My mother works as an Arabic language teacher and at the same time she takes care of us and our two dogs, Dodi and Bella, whom she considers to be one of the most important parts of the family.. My older sister is a mechanical engineer and teaches at a university in the capital, Baghdad. She lives in her apartment with 15 adopted cats. My younger sister is an oil engineer and political activist. The youngest is married. She owns 6 dogs and 2 cats. I have two brothers who are also animal lovers. All of us in the family are civil activists and we have volunteer teams.

WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL THING YOU HAVE EVER DONE?
In October of 2019, popular demonstrations took place in Iraq calling for a better environment, a better life and job opportunities. Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets to demand their rights. In my city, women did not go out to participate in the first days of the protest for fear for their lives because the situation was very dangerous, so I went out with My family as the first women in the field, and we have formed volunteer teams to help, clean, raise awareness and provide assistance. When I think about it now, I see it as reckless, but at the time, the love of the homeland and the Earth was the dominant one on my mind.

WHAT MAKES YOU PROUD OF YOUR COUNTRY?
I am proud of my country, Iraq, because it is one of the first civilizations in the world and the country from which the first letter of the world was launched. And the country that was interested in agriculture, where the stories tell that Samir Ames, an ancient Iraqi queen, built the Hanging Gardens, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. My country contains majestic mountains in the north and beautiful snows. It contains the arid desert and the beauty of the west; it contains plains, vegetables, and flat areas in the middle and south.

WHAT IS YOUR ADVOCACY?
I invite everyone to preserve the environment from all sides to save all the creatures on the planet, by raising awareness and contributing to saving the environment and animals, especially endangered species, because we all bear the responsibility of the Earth.
